It all started when my aunt decided to watch Silence of the Lambs ( Hannibal Lecter ) a day before she took off to Singapore.

As a few of my avid internet stalkers know, I am intrigued in cannibalism.
Throughout the entire holidays, I've been reading cases about Cannibalism in reality; Issei Sagawa and Jeffrey Dahmer.

The existence of such people degrades humans based on society view or simply praises them because of complexity and difference; I can't help thinking about what's going on in their convoluted mazed mind. I've always been a fan of gore and horror movies, I actually enjoyed the Human Centipede and I don't mind watching it again with an acquaintance to see their reactions after watching something incredibly disgusting.

Issei Sagawa today, still walks as a free man.
Okay well he is complex but it is still undeniable that he's another egoistic bastard for murdering someone , got away with it and feels no remorse.
I shall stop before he hunts me down and eats me instead. LOL

I loved the movie, because of the character.

Not because Anthony Hopkins was charmingly handsome for an old man but the characteristics which Lecter possessed. Maybe I was attracted to his intelligence and the way he mocked higher authority and got away from prison and practically everything else by escaping like a boss. LOL

And in Hannibal Rising ( 2007 ).
I dont understand why people critique it harshly, I thought it was alright since it was all based on Hannibal's process into becoming a full-fledged serial killer and not like the other Hannibal movies with other serial killers inside like the Tooth Fairy, Buffalo Bill etc.
Probably my assumption is that most critics based it from the previous movies and didn't like it. For example , God knows how many reviews I've read for pointing out that Hannibal in Hannibal Rising was too human. Pretty annoyed that they didn't see the fact that Serial killers don't rise up in a snap. They need to grow too.
I'm not really bothered about other people's opinion as long as I enjoyed it regardless of everyone else's opinion.

Why I'm in love with the movie.
